Job Summary:
As the Senior IT Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading our IT department, focusing on enhancing our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, improving data management practices, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the IT team. Your expertise will be crucial in driving technological advancements and solutions that align with our company’s goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the IT department, ensuring efficient and effective operations to support all aspects of the company.
- Work closely with department heads to prioritize, develop, and implement cost-effective, high business value driven solutions.
- Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of our ERP and other core systems, ensuring they meet the company’s requirements and are utilized to their full potential.
- Develop and implement strategies for improving data integrity, security, and accessibility across the organization.
- Manage IT projects from conception to completion using agile methodologies, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
- Ensure the company’s IT infrastructure is reliable, secure, and efficiently meets the needs of the business.
- Stay abreast of the latest technology trends and innovations, especially in the manufacturing sector, to drive continuous improvement and competitive advantage.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the quality of services and products.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in IT management, with a strong focus on ERP systems, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record of managing IT teams and projects, with excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Extensive experience in data management, including data security, privacy, and compliance regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and act tactically.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in budgeting, vendor management, and negotiation.
- Certifications in IT management or ERP systems are a plus.
